Present Tense :

  1. Many people disagree with government policy that the cost of fuel follows world oil market price. 
  2. Nowadays, university students must have communication skill to prepare theirshelves for applying for a job. 
  3. Indonesian people must be ready to face the Asean Economic Community by improving their creativity and mentality.

Past Tense :


  1. Three days ago, cost of gasoline increased from 6.900/liter to 7.400/liter. 
  2. Agustus 2014, the number of unemployment in Indonesia was 7,24 million. 
  3. At the end of 2014, banks in USA and Europe discharged 59.000 employees to cut down the cost.

Present Continues :


  1. Now the price of rice is increasing Rp. 500,00 after increment of fuel price. 
  2. Government is preparing for the regulation (Perpres) about prohibition of selling import trace clothes in market. 
  3. Government is targetting to build 13 industry areas in out of Java Island.

Past Perfect :


  1. In 2013, when Hatta Rajasa had become a Economic Minister, the inflation rate was 8,38%. 
  2. Mutiara Bank was changed its name into J Trust Bank when stocks had been had Japanese people. 
  3. In 1998, university students and labours had demonstrated defying government economic policy.

Past Continues :

  1. While Sri Mulyani was becoming a Finance Minister, she was asked to be World Bank director. 
  2. While world oil market price was decreased, in Indonesia the cost of fuel was increased. 
  3. Hatta Rajasa was becoming a Economic Minister while SBY was leading Indonesia.

  3. Hi Nora. That it is great. But let's we look at this sentence "......becoming a Economic Minister", I think that It will be more better if you use " an Economic Minister" sentence. But I hope that you can correct me back if I am wrong. Thank you.

  4. Hi Fatma, that's right, we have to use "an" for economic ministry, thank you for your comment :) let's we look at the sentence "I think that It will be more better if you use..." in your comment, we should use "better" without more, right? I guess that you forget it hehehe, thank you :)
